MercuryGate International, Inc., a company focused onTransportation Management Systems (TMS), announced a new productoffering, FreightFriend, a relationship based, full-featured loadand truck internet posting service.
In a release, the company said FreightFriend is a private networkwebsite for shippers, brokers and carriers. Shippers and brokerspost loads that are visible only to the carriers they trust - their"friends." Carriers post available capacity and regular lanes to oneweb site, knowing that only their shipper or broker "friends" cansee and utilize them. Full radius based searching and matchingfunctionality connects the right loads with the right trucks.
